One day they're curled perfectly against your chest.

A few weeks later, they've already grown.

It's one of the reasons so many parents tell me they wish they'd booked their newborn session sooner.

Babies rarely arrive exactly on their due date, which is why I reserve your due date rather than a fixed session date.

Have you ever thought about booking maternity photos... then talked yourself out of it?

"I don't know how to pose."

"I'm awkward in front of the camera."

"I never look good in photos."

If I had £1 for every time I heard one of those, I'd be retired by now. 😄

The truth is, the women you see on my page aren't models.

They're mums-to-be who felt exactly the same way before their session.

Take Sanchia.

She chose some outfits from my studio wardrobe, but she also wanted some photographs in her own black trouser suit.

No modelling experience.

Just a lovely mum-to-be excited to meet her baby.

And I think it's fair to say she absolutely nailed it!

My job isn't to expect you to know how to pose. It's to guide you, help you feel comfortable, and show you just how beautiful this chapter can be.
