Just a thank you to everyone who wished me happy birthday today! I'll get round to a few personal replies later. We're at an age now where actual birth days don't seem to matter that much, so my present from Jeannie was two concerts in London last week: Lucinda Williams on Tuesday and The Transatlantic Sessions at the Royal Festival Hall on Friday. And this morning I got a cup of tea and last years's birthday card, which had been on the chest of drawers all year, with 2025 crossed out and corrected to 2026!

Isn't this kid just the cutest? My lovely grandson Vilder. Now the august age of 2 years. He can say guitar, which is good enough for me. At least he's not saying banjo!

As the biddy (her words not mine) and I are not enjoying an enforced lay up and you won't be able to hear us either with the legendary Midnight Crawlers, or as The Ricotta Layer you can always enjoy Repeat Offender at the Duke William in Ickham on Saturday, or the amazing blues and ragtime guitarist and singer Dave Ferra at the Anchor in Wingham on Sunday fro 4-6 pm. The latter highly recommended.

Just put some tracks up on Bandcamp as a taster of our next album. I'll probably change the album art and maybe the title at a later date, I just wanted to get some stuff online prior to our next gigs. I'll put more tracks up as we record them. Feel free to leave comments and maybe even purchase one or two! All the dosh goes to Jeannie anyway!.. ha ha!

Just a little reminder about our gig at Fable & Green in Whitstable this weekend. Saturday 28th 3.30. Be great to see as many as possible - it's a great new cafe/venue we'd like to support. We'll also have the lovely Mark Almond with us on guitar and accordion and vocals.

Afternoon all. So we're actually playing at the lovely Fable and Green in Whitstable this coming weekend 28 Sept at 3.30 in tree afternoon. It's a lovely cafe/venue and we really need as many people as possible who can get there to join us and help support them make it a great place to play. Keep music live!

We're playing Fable & Green in Whitstable on Saturday 21st at 3.30 It's a great little bar/restaurant run by Chris and Joni and is well worth a visit - especially to hear us play! So why not pop over and say hello.
