MARYLEBONE TOWN HALL VIBES

Okay so maybe I am jumping on the Marylebone Town Hall band wagon with the news of Dua Lipa and Callum Turner’s wedding but this London venue lends itself to some epic couples! None more so than .lily and Jake and their beautiful dog Lady. So many opportunities for some fabulous photos in the streets around and the couple to chose to have a quick pint in a local pub before heading off to the tube and their big evening party back in Kent. Still not getting over this day!!!!

When your humans tie the knot!!

Thursday belonged to Beth and Jack who tied the knot at Horsham Registry Office together with their gorgeous dog . This lovely pair very much did things their way opting for an intimate ceremony with their brothers as witnesses followed by an afternoon tea with their nearest and dearest. More dogs at weddings please particularly if they are as gorgeous as Podrick 🐶(who incidentally has double the followers that I do 😂😂).

SUMMER LOVING

Back on the tools again today on another scorcher of a day!! Super early start for me this morning for a micro wedding at Horsham registry office for Beth and Jack’s special day. The gardens at the back of the registry office are lush just hoping for a little pocket of shade somewhere lol 😎
Currently sat in Pret keeping cool (I’m way too early but hey it’s how I roll). Keep safe in the sun out there today!!

“A life without love is like a year without summer”

On Saturday ._jane.katie and Matt tied the knot at the beautiful surrounded by their best people. The temperature soared to a record high (it felt like we were in the Caribbean rather than Kent!) but nothing was going to stop this couple having the best day.
Huge congratulations guys the procrastination was real choosing just twenty frames but here is a little sample of what was a truly memorable day.

FEELING HOT HOT HOT 🔥

Tips for a hot and sunny wedding day 🙂😎 Obvious one but keep hydrated keep drinking water (note to self must do this!) I also carry some rehydration tablets with me too or can feel like I’ve been hit with a train the following day Bring sun glasses for protection but also makes for some fun bridal party shots. DEFINITELY slap on the sun protection and keep some close by or with a member of your bridal party of close family Group shots of there is an area of full shade (not dappled light) then this will firstly look better but also be more comfortable for all Maybe get some paper fans for your guests to use particularly for outside ceremonies Consider having some of your couple shots later in the day too when the light softens and is less harsh
Basically let’s have fun but be prepared too

YOUR WEDDING YOUR WAY

There is something lovely about a couple who quite literally throw away the “rule books” (IMO there should be no rules when it comes to planning your wedding). Everything from this Brides gorgeous dress to them having afternoon tea, a quick pint at their local by the river before an evening reception at their local sailing club. So relaxed, so uniquely them, more emphasis on the people and just having a good time. I absolutely loved it!

SPRINGTIME IN SANDWICH

On Saturday and Trevor tied the knot in style at the ancient and historic courtroom at the surrounded by their best people. The weather was perfect with wall to wall sunshine and it was wonderful to wander those ancient winding streets for couple portraits later in the day.
This lovely pair pretty much smiled all day even when a rogue seagull decided to leave its calling card on her dress! Apparently it’s lucky (???).
In the evening they welcomed more guests to dance the night away to amazing live music from their chosen band The Risen. I even met one of my previous couples there which made it even more lovely.

JUST SINGING AND DANCING IN THE RAIN

A throwback to this oh so joyful wedding day at on what was King Charles’s Coronation day. It pretty much hammered down all day with the odd brief moment where it relented. I’d pretty much say these images still radiate pure joy.

Some serene bridal prep inspo

If I can offer any brides to be planning their wedding a word of advice it would be allow more time than you think you need on your wedding day morning even if this is just to sit and chat with your tribe or have a sneaky glass of Prosecco. These moments pass so quickly and there is nothing worse than being rushed!! Aim to be ready an hour before you leave for your ceremony. Trust me you will thank me later
