Only one week to go to my landscape photography exhibition at the Fisherman’s Hut Gallery in Dunwich!

The exhibition will feature some popular Suffolk coast scenes - including Aldeburgh, Southwold and Pin Mill, that will be available to purchase as prints and greetings cards. Prints start from as little as £25.

There's plenty of parking close-by, and a great café next door!

The exhibition runs from 8th - 14th May opening from 10.00am onwards.

See you there!

I'm pleased to be a participant in the forthcoming 2026 Aldeburgh Art Trail (AAT26).

AAT26 (formerly known as Aldeburgh Studio Trail), is a fantastic event, where locally based artists, descend on Aldeburgh showcasing a diverse range of art – painting, photography, printing, jewellery, pottery and mixed media in the last three weekends in June. The artists locations are conveniently located within walking distance, with cafés, pubs, and hotels along the way.

As a taster for the big event, a Preview Show will take place at the Aldeburgh Jubilee Hall on May 23rd and 24th, where you can meet some of the artists and see examples of their amazing work.

Follow Aldeburgh Studio Trail for updates!

Some big jack-up barge action happening off Sizewell Beach at the moment. They are there to help with the construction of the new Sizewell C nuclear power station.

A big thanks to GeoSeacore for letting me know of its arrival (the blue barge). She's a very impressive vessel!

A very sad day in Thorpeness, Suffolk today. Yet another house is demolished due to coastal erosion. It looks like it won't be the last.

This is a project I did a few years ago. I photographed the same oak tree throughout the seasons. I found a few more shots from that time and added them to this video.

Hope you enjoy it.

I've been shooting stock in the last week or so. Coastal erosion is a very hot topic here in Suffolk, so I went to Thorpeness, where it has become a very serious issue. A number of people have tragically lost their homes, and a number of other properties are on the danger list.

There is also evidence of erosion at Sizewell too, worryingly, it appears to be happening close to the Sizewell C construction site.

If you are looking for photos or 4k video of Aldeburgh and the surrounding areas, my work is available for licensing through Alamy, Pond5, Shutterstock and Adobe.
