The long awaited culmination of the Aquarium project, over 100 needle felted goldfish displayed in my studio space. It's finally here!

Sunday 11am -3pm

Come join us for snacks and treats, browse the amazing work of 3 talented scarborough artists (yes I'm one of them) see our work space and visit the fish!

Hanover Studios is situated just behind the Stephen Joseph Theatre on Hanover Road, the red door next to the barbers shop and up the stairs.

Parking is available on the street with a disc (we have spares) or at the many car parks in town. No disabled access sorry, we are on the first floor.

Beautiful afternoon for a walk up to Olivers Mount to take in one of the best views of Scarborough. Well, I say walk, I realised I am not very fit after a lazy winter. The steep journey up certainly left me a little red in the face! 🫣🥵 I think I need to do this more often!

Just the calm and thoughtful morning I needed, and the weather held just enough so we could walk the length of the beach and truly appreciate the scale of the work.

Another Place is comprised of 100 cast iron bodyforms created from 17 different bodycasts of Antony Gormley, all looking out to sea. Some are buried to waist height in the sand near the coast path and some, depending on the tide, are under water.

Took my puppy for a lovely walk yesterday along the Esplanade at Scarborough. Glad we made the most of the evening sunshine 🌤 as today's weather is quite different! 🌧
