🚀 **Exciting News!** 🚀

I’m absolutely thrilled to share that I placed 12th out of 4,845 entries in the "Street Photography at Night" competition on Photocrowd! 🎉📸 On top of that, I received an Expert Commendation, which is a huge honour!

Street photography has always been a passion of mine—the challenge of working with low light, the mood of the city after dark, and the way shadows and artificial lights create powerful stories. This competition really pushed me creatively, and I’m so proud of the result!

I took this photo of the new building in Whitehaven harbour called "The Edge". At the time, as you can see in the colour photo, there was still a lot of construction work going on.
I have to say I am impressed with the new generative ai tool in photoshop as it allowed to me create a decluttered foreground to produce the black and white image. We hear so much bad stuff about Ai taking creatives jobs it is pleasing to be able to use it to one's advantage.
