Summer has come and gone (nearly!) and with the passing of seasons, the buzz at the allotments is slowing down. Tenants are preparing to pick their produce and create exciting plans for the next growing season.

August's plot of the month is full of life and the late summer sun has helped to grow a varied bounty of peppers, tomatoes, beans, as well as pretty primroses and stunning sunflowers.

Volunteers needed! Do you enjoy chatting to people?

We're looking for another volunteer to help host our Chatter & Natter table at Lilia's Kitchen (Bat & Ball Station).

If you have some time to spare on Wednesdays (doesn't have to be every week), from 10:30am to 12pm, then we'd love to hear from you!

Chatty Café online training will be provided to help you in your role.

Our contractor will soon be carrying out specialist cleaning and restoration works to the Vine War Memorial in Sevenoaks. The work is due to start this month and will take around two weeks.

Thank you to the organisers of Sevenoaks Street Food Fest, Heart of Sevenoaks, and all the wonderful stallholders who braved a very rainy day last month to make this event happen at the Vine.
