The story of how I stumbled into linocut prints 📖

I found a mini linocut kit at a charity shop a few years ago, but I didn’t get into it straight away. The Lino that came with it was hard and pretty tricky to cut. After not being instantly good at it , like most of us think we’ll be, I put it in a draw and kind of forgot about it.

Fast forward 2 years and guess what I stumble upon at the same charity shop—a block printing ink kit! A box filled with all the primary ink colours, a roller and 2 sheets of soft lino. I of course took it as a sign and grabbed it without hesitation (it was £5, how could I not).

After a bit of practice and a super fun idea, I’m feeling inspired and looking forward to sharing my plans with you all soon 👀

Monday nights workshop .ibstock 🫖📖

These felt teabag bookmarks were a fun and crafty activity a book club.

This was the first time I’d run this workshop and although there was lots of prep involved, I really enjoyed seeing everyone pick their colour combinations and create their own tea bags 🥰

This is definitely a workshop I’d like to run again!

My Melbourne in Stitches square 🧵🪡

Popped to today to drop off my square for the Melbourne in Stitches quilt. Had a lovely catch up with Sharon (the gallery director) and turns out we both picked the same inspiration for our squares😅

This window is clearly my muse since I’ve photographed it, painted it and stitched it!
