Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting The Play Village on the Isle of Sheppey to capture some photographs of their wonderful café and role-play village. 📸 🎭🐈🥰
From the moment you walk in, it's easy to see why so many families love this place. The Play Village offers children a chance to step into their own miniature world, where they can let their imaginations run free as they explore different role-play areas, take on new characters, and create their own adventures.
Imaginative play is so important for young children. It helps to build confidence, develop communication and social skills, encourage problem-solving, and nurture creativity in a fun and engaging environment. Watching children immerse themselves in these experiences is a reminder that learning really can happen through play.
Alongside the fantastic role-play village, there's also a welcoming café area where parents and carers can relax with a drink while the little ones explore and play. The whole venue has a warm, friendly atmosphere that makes it a great place to spend quality family time together.
