My first wedding at THIRSK LODGE BARNS and boy was it a good one!! Colourful, full of joy and the best dance moves 💃🏻 🪩

Laura is Spanish and she had lots of her family over to celebrate along with Jordan’s. Jordan gave his speech in both English and Spanish which I was thoroughly impressed by! 🇪🇸 Everyone who gave a speech, whether in English or Spanish, gave a copy to all their guests in their own language so everyone felt included and could understand.

Penelope (Penny) - Celebrant -Yorkshire + UK + Global gave the most wonderful ceremony where there were bubble machines down the aisle, emotional vows and LOTS of gorgeous flowers. Such a joy to photograph!

Laura has a tattoo on her arm of a poppy to remember her parents by, and when we went out for portraits later in the evening, there were two singular poppy’s stood in the field right next to where her dress fell on the floor. I think it was a sign they were there 💖

Hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed dancing with all of their guests to the Spanish tunes!! 🙌

Kelly & Ryan at a new venue for me, Barmbyfield Barns! Yesterday was a day of a stunning sunset mixed with equally stunning ice cream from Swirlz Gelato 🍦 smartie and chocolate dipped cone, anyone?! 🤩

These two have been together a long time and it was lovely seeing their tables all laid out with different photos of them across the years! So many more amazing years to come 🙌

Thanks for having me there guys, it’s always a pleasure when quests from weddings I’ve shot previously booked me. I shot Kelly’s bridesmaid Emily’s wedding a couple of years back so I have actually photographed some of these people before! Full circle moment 🥳

Hello! 👋

Here’s me with one of my fave things: a colourful door. If you know me, I have a mental map (and a thorough Google doc) of all the good doors in Leeds. Because I’m normal.

I haven’t shared some reviews on the feed in a hot minute so I wanted to show you what some of my lovely couples have been saying about me…

On Saturday I was back at The Chimney House for the gorgeous wedding of Rebecca and Codey. All of their venues never miss on having stunning natural light and wonderful industrial nods and decor. Just love! 🪴 🌞

The sun really stayed out for these two as they had their ceremony upstairs and some drinks outside in the middle of Kelham Island. It’s been a little while since I’ve been to Sheffield and it was a wonderful welcome back.

I would be amiss without mentioning their wonderful golden cocker spaniel Elvis who reminds me so much of my own little fur baby. He looked so handsome in his little bow tie 🤵 🐶

It was also wonderful to capture the love between these two and their gorgeous son Lennie who is a testament to them both. What a pleasure to photograph this family and their nearest and dearest!

Looking forward to being back in Sheffield at the end of the month too at VICTORIA 🙌

York never fails to be the most wonderful backdrop for portraits, surrounded by pockets of nature, bustling crowds and a selection of the best historical buildings Yorkshire has to offer.

The weather was perfect on Saturday, it was warm but with a slight cool breeze, something we haven’t had much of recently! Very needed when getting about a city centre.

Rosie & George got married with their nearest and dearest at York Registry Office - the last two weddings I have shot at have been at venues I got married at myself! Maybe it’s meant to be?

Rosie’s dress by Prea James Bridal was so stunning, I am still obsessed with the giant bow 🎀 George’s suit complimented it so well! What a pleasure to meet you both and capture these for you 💖 enjoy!

Left Bank is a venue that always gets me right in my feels, which I can’t help since it’s such a magical place and I got married there myself!

Gemma & Jonathan’s day was no exception and the sun really came out for them and their guests. Their two best friends officiated the ceremony which made it super personal to them. They stood below handmade bunting, including a piece of fabric from Gemma’s grandad who is no longer with us. Such a lovely idea and a way to include him.

They had a fabulous pork pie wedding ‘cake’ along with a Colin and Connie from M&S, a winning combo I must say. The pork pie smelt amazing so I’m sure it tasted delish Piesmiths!

Gemma’s dress was her mother’s dress from the 80’s, and originally made by her grandma. It was lovingly altered by Betty Lavinia who made it more modern and more Gemma!

Since this is a public account I don’t post photos of children, so you will have to take my word for it when I say their little boy Ollie was the star of the show and the cutest little boy with the biggest smile. He really is a testament to them both and their love for each other.

Betty & Jonnie - the highlight video 📹 I shot digital photo, video and 35mm film on this day, and the video was the last to share with you!

What absolute legends. I mean, you only need to look at these photos to get a feel for these guys, they were SO much fun to be around and really knew how to throw a party.

They both got ready at .leeds which is only a stone’s throw from . I got photos of the both of them getting ready which is always so easy when you stay at the same hotel - wedding hack!!

Their ceremony was at Leeds Civic Hall in the stunning Banquet suite while the sun absolute threw itself at everyone outside. As we emerged into it the confetti flew and the whole thing just radiated JOY! 🌞

We had some fun photos at before heading over to the YOU&ME mural and then back to . Basically it was a very kinda day 🍻 🪩

Betty made quite a few things for the wedding day including the most gorgeous appliqué wedding sign - take a look at that detail 🪡. I love seeing the things people make for their day and the effort that goes into creating their vision.

I would be remiss without mentioning Lyla, their gorrrrgeous labrador. Her smile was just the cutest thing and I always love getting photos of dogs at weddings 🐶

Last year I had the pleasure of capturing Krishma & Jack’s legal wedding day in November, ahead of their epic wedding last month in the Lake District.

They signed the dotted line at Leeds Civic Hall, and the weather was definitely different to their bigger wedding day where the sun was shining! We didn’t mind though as through the rain came the sun and it made for the most wonderful high contrast light. Hence the vast amount of black and white images here!

What a pleasure to be trusted with not one but two wedding days, I will always cherish the trust you all put in me to capture your memories 🫶

Last photo features them stood in front of the hospital where they both met, a little Easter egg for you.
