Betty & Jonnie!! What absolute legends. I mean, you only need to look at these photos to get a feel for these guys, they were SO much fun to be around and really knew how to throw a party.

They both got ready at .leeds which is only a stone’s throw from . I got photos of the both of them getting ready which is always so easy when you stay at the same hotel - wedding hack!!

Their ceremony was at Leeds Civic Hall in the stunning Banquet suite while the sun absolute threw itself at everyone outside. As we emerged into it the confetti flew and the whole thing just radiated JOY! 🌞

We had some fun photos at before heading over to the YOU&ME mural and then back to . Basically it was a very kinda day 🍻 🪩

Betty made quite a few things for the wedding day including the most gorgeous appliqué wedding sign - take a look at that detail 🪡. I love seeing the things people make for their day and the effort that goes into creating their vision.

I would be remiss without mentioning Lyla, their gorrrrgeous labrador. Her smile was just the cutest thing and I always love getting photos of dogs at weddings 🐶

Hello there! 👋

If you’re new here or just want to get a feel for my style, you can have a look through these slides and hopefully that answers some of your questions. My style revolves around letting your day unfold as I capture what is happening around me.

There are some parts of the day where I step in and help take group photos, as well as some of the two of you. But these will be done in a way that feels natural and not forced, as well as not taking too much time away from your day.

Where do I start with the wedding of the Dunks?! First of all - we must all appreciate the fact that does in fact have a basketball court underneath the main hall, making it the perfect way for us to commemorate .dunk’s change in name. What a better way to become a dunk, then by doing the perfect dunk, in a wedding dress with a pink basketball?!

Some of you may have seen the creations Amy and Matt have been making on TikTok as (understandably) a few of them went viral for being so wonderful. Handmade streamers with friends, a ‘stained glass’ masterpiece for the ceremony backdrop, individually cross stitched napkins for every guest, the list goes on! So wonderful to witness.

A lot of this wedding was either handmade or second hand and given a new life. All of the plates the guests ate off were vintage plates from charity shops, and all the colourful vases were from the good old chazzas too. These two couldn’t have nailed eco-friendly anymore, and I am SO here for it!!

Another wonderful detail was the fact they borrowed the moon backdrop from another one of my couples I shot earlier this year 🌙 even more wonderful repurposing!!

They also had a live band with Matt’s brother in it, and a live painter who did the absolutely most incredible painting of them both doing a dip kiss. Sublime day for some sublime people.

Saturday may have come with rain but you literally wouldn’t know looking at these photos. Not because I’m some sort of magician, but because this day was so filled with JOY that you wouldn’t even question it.

Valley Gardens was blooming with wisteria and giving full on Bridgerton vibes, the absolutely stunning florals from perfectly complemented the terrace of .harrogate, and there were smiles all round.

I was especially obsessed with Sarah’s amazing bouquet which literally made me gasp when I saw it. Absolutely stunning and so perfect with the silk dress 💐

Sam & Sarah have this infectious energy when they’re together. This always makes my job an absolute pleasure, being able to capture even just a small slice of the start of their lives together.

Speaking of slices, how gorgeous was the cake from ? The first frame of the two of them slicing it really reminds me of a book I have of all Hollywood stars getting married back in the day. An absolute vibe 📸

I wanted to share on the feed some of the gorgeous details from the open day set up back in March. So many incredible suppliers, and I love shooting here so it really was the perfect day!

When I shot at last year I was just as obsessed with the industrial vibes, impeccable interior design and mid century modern furniture. As a big retro / reclaimed vintage fan, it’s literally my dream venue!

Samantha and Ross have been together 15 years and their wedding day was filled with all of their nearest and dearest, including the sweeeeetest greyhound ever - Manny.

The vibe of the day was so joyful - there was a festival going on round the corner and the sun was shining so bright 🌞. It really was the perfect May wedding with bright sun and a cool breeze.

When I say the food here is good, I mean it. What a better place to sit and eat your wedding breakfast too in such a gorgeous setting with the most amazing light coming through the windows?! The upstairs part of the venue used to be a chapel and you can see why as the light in there is practically biblical. Big fan. If you’re getting married here and looking for a photographer I implore you to hit me up!

The very first NYE wedding to ever be held at - and what a wedding it was!! 🪩 💃🏻

Ellie & Eddy brought the vibes with the most magical, fun, vibrant and disco-ball-filled wedding ever. If you need any convincing, take a look at the disco ball bridesmaids dresses from and those incredible shoes all the way from America. Allllll of the sparkle ✨

As a couple who loves country music, they had lots of country nods throughout their day including some wonderful live country music too. This lot love to dance and that made my job so much more fun, as the more that’s happening the more fun it is to photograph!! 🕺

It was lovely to work with again, this isn’t the first time we’ve both worked a wedding at either! And of course always great to be back at the venue where I got married myself 💒

One fun idea from their wedding I really enjoyed was the fact that instead of a cake they cut a pizza instead. What more could you want?! 🍕

Of course I can’t go without mentioned also the bubble exit instead of confetti, this was soooo much fun and looked amazing! Their guests had to much fun too so it really ticked all the boxes 🫧

I’ve been wanting to learn to shoot hybrid for a long time now. It’s something I really want to be able to offer my couples, as photos can only do so much. A photo may speak a thousand words, but sadly you cannot hear them out loud. Highlight videos are a way to hear those words, and see your day come to life through movement.

This is my first highlight video I’ve ever made (and made within 2 days of the wedding as I must be crazy!). I really enjoyed making this, and I still have a lot to learn. As creatives we are always constantly learning, and if you’re not always learning from other people and trying new things, get out there! What have you got to lose?

I will be offering this to a few more couple this year at a discounted rate as I’m still finding my way through video and making it the best it can be.
