The art of being together.

I recently spent the morning with Megan & Dario at the National Portrait Gallery in London, the place where they had their very first date.

When it came to choosing a location for their pre wedding photos, nowhere felt more fitting. Surrounded by centuries of art and stories, we wandered through the gallery in search of quiet corners, letting the morning unfold naturally as I documented them simply being with one another.

These are always my favourite moments to photograph. The in between spaces where nothing is forced and everything feels real.

Between conversations about early 2000s skate videos, photography and creative influences, it quickly became clear that Dario understood exactly the kind of images I love to make. There is something special about being trusted to follow your vision.

After a few coffees and a slow morning inside the gallery, we stepped back out into the rhythm of London, weaving through busy streets before stopping by the new Banksy piece just around the corner.

A morning of art, conversation and quiet moments together.

I am already counting down to photographing their wedding next year.

A quiet moment, just for them.

After the ceremony, while the excitement of the day carried on around them, Amelia & Sean slipped away to The Municipal Hotel for a brief pause before the celebrations continued. A chance to check into the hotel they would call home for the night, but more importantly, a chance to simply be together.

Away from the noise and congratulations, they settled into the hotel’s beautiful Art Deco bar, cocktails in hand, taking in the reality of what had just happened. Married.

These are often my favourite moments of a wedding day. The in-between moments. The ones that aren’t planned or performed. Just two people finding a little calm amidst the whirlwind.

Surrounded by timeless interiors, warm light and quiet conversation, it felt like stepping into another era. A scene that suited both digital and film perfectly, preserving a moment that felt as elegant and unhurried as the hotel itself.

Wow, wow! What an incredible day down in South Wales with these two lovely humans. I genuinely had to stop myself from editing the entire gallery while putting together these previews. More coming soon, for sure!

Shoutout the gang for making this one happen!

Amelia & Sean

Some weddings just have a certain energy from the very beginning, and Amelia & Sean’s day was one of them.

The day started at Fabric Studios, a venue that feels as though it was designed with creativity in mind. Industrial textures, clean lines, endless pockets of light, and backdrops at every turn. Having both bridal and groom prep under one roof made the morning flow effortlessly, while the iconic infinity cove provided the perfect setting for some beautifully editorial portraits before the celebrations began.

Once the formalities were out of the way, we headed out into the streets of Liverpool. The city became our canvas. We wandered through side streets and hidden corners, embracing the architecture, movement, and atmosphere that make city weddings feel so distinctive. Amelia & Sean slipped naturally into the rhythm of it all, creating those effortlessly cool urban portraits that feel timeless and modern all at once.

A quick stop at the Municipal Hotel Liverpool gave us a chance to slow things down for a moment. With cocktails in hand and some of their favourite drinks on the table, we captured a series of images that felt straight out of an editorial feature. Stylish, relaxed, and completely reflective of who they are together. Those photographs deserve a story of their own.

As the evening arrived, everyone gathered at Scale for the reception. The warm atmosphere of the space was matched only by the energy in the room. Friends and family filled every corner with laughter, dancing, and the kind of celebration that reminds you exactly why weddings are so special.

From industrial city backdrops and cocktail-hour portraits to an unforgettable evening surrounded by their favourite people, Amelia & Sean created a day that felt effortlessly cool from start to finish.

A wedding full of style, personality, and moments that couldn’t have happened anywhere else. What a day.

Still recovering from yesterday. An insane day in the North East with these two and the best kind of chaos. What a wedding.

Definitely more from this one coming soon. This day deserves its own spotlight.

Katie & Andrew

After photographing their friends wedding a few years ago, I got invited back to capture their day too. It was so nice seeing some familiar faces again, and always a bonus when people already know how I work.

We started the day at Cornerstone Church in Liverpool, right by the infamous Penny Lane, where they had their ceremony followed by a tea and cake reception at the church.

After that, we headed over to Larkspur Lodge for the main reception. The place was full of happiness, amazing gardens and such a good atmosphere all day long.

Then into the evening, Katie’s mum brought out the biggest pavlova I’ve ever seen for them to cut on the dance floor. Genuinely unreal.

What a day guys, and see you at the next one haha
