Thrilled to be hosting the Make Good Social collage night at the studios!

Our first event is coming up on the 2nd May from 7-10pm - an evening of collage!

We believe that being alongside other humans, making and talking (maybe a bit of cake) is the key to feeling good and living well.

Make Good Social was created by women who live with chronic illness and are neurodivergent and we want to make safe and welcoming spaces that allow us to play, create, talk, share, connect and be happier.

When did you last do something that was just for fun, slow down and take time to enjoy the simple things?

We don't do workshops, we do playshops!

You don’t have to be a ‘creative type’ it’s a no pressure environment and we are not looking for a masterpiece, the joy is very much in just being part of something (really) good.

There will be delicious homemade snacks and drinks too, and yes, by that we mean cake!

Now for the science bit... Studies show that social interaction through the arts provide massive benefits to people ageing, long term health conditions, poor mental health and loneliness.
Basically, we believe that art and friends make you happy.

Smithfield Studios is a photography and videography studio just outside the centre of Sheffield available to hire.
Ground floor access studios, wheelchair accessible, great location with parking available. Our studio hire includes lighting, make up and changing room and private use of the studio.
