As a former candidate of I'm so proud to see people of Barnsley come together to work towards something different to the usual disappointing politics we've seen over the past decade and more. Although I had to unfortunately dip from being a candidate with due to struggling to find the time around work and my health, there's still going to be plenty of other awesome locals to vote for who are here to fight for the working class, disabled people, the NHS and the LGBTQ+ community! 💚

Also is sound AF honestly, I told him when I was a candidate that I had no idea what I was doing. He told me that he didn't either, he was just learning on the job, the important thing is getting people into power who actually care about others and anyone who goes into politics thinking that they have all of the answers probably isn't the right person for the job.

If you're not sure about their policies all it takes is a quick look on the website at their manifesto and see if anything connects. It's important to remember that no party is ever going to check every box for every person, but that's why it's more important than ever to get people into power who are willing to listen to locals and not only work for their own personal gain. We can make a real, positive change for once, let's not waste this opportunity! 💚🌞
