Meet the Landlords 🤍

Samie and Arran Gosney have been proudly running The Rose & Crown since January 2025.

For Arran, taking on the pub was a real full-circle moment. He started here as a pot washer at just 14 years old before training as a chef and going on to become Head Chef at The Quicksilver Mail in Yeovil. A lifelong local, his family has lived in Bradford Abbas for over six generations, and his passion is serving great home-cooked food in a welcoming village pub.

Samie also has deep roots in Bradford Abbas, with family connections to the village spanning more than five generations. Alongside teaching at a local secondary school, she helps keep the pub at the heart of village life, bringing people together through community events and local partnerships.

Together, with their two children and dog Red, Samie and Arran are proud to call Bradford Abbas home and look forward to welcoming you to The Rose & Crown.

My approach to wedding photography is all about telling the story of your day naturally. The big moments are important, but so are the little ones - the nervous excitement before you walk down the aisle, the hugs, the laughter, the happy tears, the dance floor chaos, and all the details you might not even notice until you look back through your gallery.

I like to blend in, get to know you and your guests, and capture your wedding as it unfolds, creating a gallery that feels authentic to you and your day.

Bringing a brand to life, one photo at a time. 🍰

I recently had the pleasure of working with , capturing a gallery of bespoke branding images for their new venture.

From delicious flat lays of homemade bakes and savouries to behind-the-scenes moments, detail shots, and professional headshots, the aim was to create a versatile gallery of content they can use across their website, social media, and marketing.

One of my favourite parts of branding photography is helping businesses tell their story through imagery. Every image has a purpose, whether it’s showcasing a product, introducing the face behind the business, or giving customers a glimpse behind the scenes.
And let’s be honest... spending the day surrounded by incredible homemade bakes wasn’t a bad bonus either. 🍰

Mr & Mrs Woods 🤍

The weather didn’t quite get the memo, but despite the rain and a little bit of chaos, it was a beautiful day from start to finish. ☔️❤️

Filled with laughter, happy tears, and some of the loveliest people, this was a wedding that proved a bit of weather can’t stop a great celebration.

Thank you, Hannah & Aaron, for having me be a part of your special day. It was an absolute pleasure to capture every moment of it. 🥰
