I’ve had the pleasure of capturing quite a few couples recently, and every session has been an absolute joy. Whether you’re celebrating a new chapter together, marking a special milestone, or simply want some beautiful photos with the person you love, a couples’ photoshoot is a wonderful way to create lasting memories.

With Year 11 proms just around the corner over the next few weeks, now is the perfect time to capture this special milestone before your son or daughter heads off for their big night.

I’m offering short pre-prom photography sessions at your home, creating beautiful portraits of your child looking their very best before they leave for the celebrations. These relaxed shoots are a wonderful way to preserve memories of an occasion that marks the end of an important chapter in their lives.

Whether you’d like individual portraits, family photos, or a few shots with friends before they head off, I’d be delighted to help.

Sometimes it’s just as special for teenagers and young adults to have fresh, natural photographs of themselves too—capturing who they are right now, not just how they used to be.

They change so quickly at that age, and having up-to-date images can be lovely for updating wall art at home, sharing on socials, or simply keeping as part of your family story as it continues to grow.

These aren’t just “nice pictures” either—they become memories of a really important stage of life, one that often passes by faster than we realise.

MODEL CALL – FAMILY PORTRAIT SESSIONS

I’m looking for three families with children to take part in a family portrait session as part of my upcoming marketing and portfolio work.

These sessions will be relaxed, natural, and focused on capturing genuine connection and interaction between parents and children. I’m especially keen for parents to be actively involved in the shoot, so we can create authentic family moments together.

What’s included:
In return for your time and participation, each family will receive 5 professionally edited images as a thank you.

Important details:

* Families must be happy for images to be used across my website, social media, and marketing materials
* Sessions will include children of various ages
* Shoots will take place on a date to be confirmed/weather dependant
* Location/venue will be confirmed.

I would highly recommend you book a pre wedding shoot or engagement shoot as part of your wedding service.

It’s best to arrange the shoot approximately six weeks prior to your wedding day at a mutually convenient location, often at the wedding venue or somewhere special to you both.

During the pre-wedding session I will show you how we work and help you to feel confident in front of the camera in readiness for your wedding. It is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and find out what’s important to you, what makes you laugh and how you interact as a couple. If you happen to be a little camera shy, it will make things a lot easier on your wedding day.

"Catherine photographed our small wedding. Communication from the start was great and she suggested what package would be best for us. She arrived on our wedding day when she said she would and knew all the best locations at our venue for photos. She was great with my guests and my 2 young children.
