Hello everyone! Apologies for being a little quiet lately. With one thing and another, I’ve been lacking a bit of creativity, but thankfully it’s slowly coming back!

Day 11: Today’s painting is a little glimpse of the Shropshire countryside, with rolling green fields, hay bales and a big open sky. I really enjoyed playing around with the different shades of green and adding texture to the fields.

A little recap of my August painting challenge so far! I’ve been challenging myself to create a painting or sketch every day throughout August, using photographs I’ve taken around the UK as inspiration.

It’s been a great way to experiment with different styles, techniques and subjects, and I’m already noticing how much I’m learning from painting every day.
