Good Morning everyone!
OK, I have an announcement. I promise you this isn't a bad attempt at marketing, - well not intentionally anyway. The truth is, I just couldn't do it! People have got in touch asking when Christmas mini's were happening, and I've spent the summer thinking there was something I was supposed to be doing. I MISS buying props and decorations in July! It's be come a tradition. So it's back. Simple as that. Full details of the backdrop, pricing and booking details will be released on the 1st of October. In the meantime, here is a little teaser of the BEAUTIFUL traditional backdrop we'll be using this year.

Who else is feeling a definite Autumn Vibe today? I've got that 'Back to School' feeling, although the smell in the air isn't there yet.
After what felt like a long lazy Summer, I'm feeling focussed, with lot's of plans coming together. I've been working towards fulfilling the criteria for EFIAP- 'Excellence' in International FIAP exhibitions.
I needed an acceptance in ONE more country, and last night the results came through to tell me I had eight images accepted with an honourable mention for Daisy's portrait - 'The Little Scholar'.
Now it's a wait for the application window, followed by a lot of form filling and another wait before I'll hopefully get the award...

This monochrome version of Emily’s dying swan, was accepted and awarded a selectors medal from one of the judges at the ‘Beyond Group’ Photographic Exhibition. Having not entered anything for almost five months, I was missing the buzz of results day, so this was a nice surprise.
