Just a couple of images from my phone. Spent about 4/5 hours at Fairy Glen. Photographing Film, really slows you down & makes you think about the shot, unlike digital, where you just keep pressing until you're happy with it. Will have to get my film developed & scanned. Until that happens, I'll edit my digital copies.
Really enjoyable day, looking forward to next session.

Off out to enjoy some me time me, with an old film camera, to take some black & white photos. Of course, I do have my trusty DSLR Sony camera with me.......Just in case! 😁😁

Well thats me for the day. Saw Gavin Hoey (YouTuber), Graham Currey with Emma Finch, drooled over the Sony camera's & lenses, overall, a fantastic day out. Now I've had my coffee, time for home!!!

🍄📸 Nature Photography Workshops @ Beacon Country Park 📸🍄

Based on the popularity of our photography walks, we've decided to up our game and provide more learning opportunities for people wanting to get into, improve or simply have a go at photography.

We've teamed up with the very talented Beacon Photographic Club who will be offering structured (but friendly!) workshops throughout the year. Each workshop will start with an indoor 'theory' session to talk about how you can get the best from your camera, before heading outside and putting that theory into practise in the real world.

This workshop is suitable for just about anyone who has access to a camera. This can be anything from the fanciest fancy pants camera all the way to the camera on your phone - the same techniques can be applied throughout!

As some of my & will know, I started a camera club in Skelmersdale in 2014 & tomorrow we'll be launching our first exhibition in 6 years at the Ecumenical Centre, which will run for about 10 weeks. Many members have contributed & while setting up over the last 2 days, I received word I sold my "Fly Me To The Moon" image.
