From start to finish, she was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding photographer, professional, patient, so much fun, and somehow completely in control of the whole day!

She made everything feel so easy and relaxed, even when things were busy.

She captured our day absolutely perfectly, including so many special moments and little details that we didn’t even get to see ourselves on the day.

She also went above and beyond in ways that had nothing to do with photography, helping us out whenever she could and making sure everything ran smoothly.

Some of my favourite wedding photographs happen before the ceremony even begins.

The first time your bridesmaids see you.

The moment your dad turns around.

The reactions you can’t plan or recreate.

My advice?

Build this into your timeline. These are the moments you’ll treasure just as much as the walk down the aisle.

Emily & Rory. 🤍

These guys booked me around two years ago and I always encourage my couples to stay in touch throughout the planning process. Emily definitely took me up on that. So when Saturday came around, even though it was the first time we’d actually met (with them living in London), it just felt like meeting friends.

When a couple trusts you implicitly, great things happen. They just let me do my thing and that always makes such a difference.

There were so many emotional moments throughout the day. The reveal with Emily’s Dad and bridesmaids had everyone in tears, and the speeches… I’ve never seen so many guests wiping their eyes.

Emily had every little detail planned. She knew exactly what she wanted, everything had been thought about, and that made my job so much easier and so much to capture.

One of my favourite parts of the day was heading down to Bolton Abbey for their personal vows. I gave them as much privacy as I could during this moment, so I was shooting nice and wide and just letting them have their moment. I only caught little bits of what was being said, but Rory… what I did hear got me. 🥹

And The Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey … what a venue. The staff are unreal, everything runs like clockwork, the food is incredible, so many beautiful photo opportunities and if you’re lucky enough to get the evening sunshine like we did, it’s pretty special.

What a day. Thank you both for trusting me to capture it all 🤍 and congratulations again 🥂

A few previews from this week’s legal ceremony at Harrogate Registry Office and then on to the beautiful gardens at 🤍

I first met these two at a wedding last year, where the bride was one of the bridesmaids. Before I’d even got home that night, I had a message from the groom asking if I was free for their ceremony.

There really isn’t a better feeling than that. When people spend a whole wedding day with you, see how you work, and then trust you to photograph their own day too, it means a lot.

These two were brilliant to work with. They completely brought the vibe, had loads of ideas, and made my job very easy.
