How did I start my business?? Well its not the most exciting of stories but still worth telling.
Late in 2021 I broke my finger on my left hand whilst recklessly not handling a heavy dumb bell probably in the gym. Fast forward a couple of weeks later and whilst feeling sorry for myself I decided to dust off our Sony DSLR camera that me and the wife purchased after we got married in 2016 for use on our honey moon. I quickly got back in to the swing of things with the camera and really started to get my nose into the functioning of it.
Photos started out as shooting whilst walking with our dog Taffi close to where we live in Sleaford and then playing around with the images in the post production world of Adobe Lightroom. This really brought my images to life!
Since this time I have invested in a Sony ZV-1 camera and a Zhiyun Crane M2 Gimball. I have also purchased a tripod and more memory cards and batteries for each camera.
At the start of 2022 I was trying to really discover where I wanted to take my photography - sort of niche down and find something that not only I enjoyed doing but could be transformed into a business idea. This is when I decided to start with projects with small businesses. Businesses that are starting out or already established thrive most with good social media presence and a website. I noticed all too often with small companies whether that be a local gym or hairdressers that their awesome businesses are simply not being shown off enough as they should be online. I therefore started shooting with businesses like a dog walker, interior designer, gym owner, MMA trainer, barbers and book restoration.
So this is me PFH Photography - simple but effective photography for your start up, growing or already established business. The process is simple, the photos are perfect and the price is competitive.
