There was a hint of chaos around this image as we watched this exact green woodpecker get swooped on and chased across the meadow by a kestrel. The sheer speed and agility it showed while dodging the falcon in mid-air was incredibly entertaining to witness. He looks pretty pleased with himself for escaping! 😂
