PLEASE HELP!!! - For those of you who know me, you will know that we as a family have had a pretty crappy time of late with Maries mums ( Maureen ) Alzheimers diagnosis and the effects its had on us all, however during this time Marie had a pretty remarkable idea to help her Mum and others.
This is not just for people with Alzheimers but any other diseases, mental illness or just vulnerable people as a whole.
The technology is so simple it's genius! Its a simple device that when scanned reveals your contacts, medical conditions etc on your phone, helping first responders and kind individuals assisting in times of need!
Do please go take a look on the page below or visit the web page www.helpmehome.co.uk
Please like and share, doing any of these things won't cost you anything but will count as one of your good deeds 🙂
The Facebook link below is a small part of Maries journey or you can visit the web page where Marie is starting a blog to document the experiences and possible solutions to future problems for others..
Remember, the like and share costs you nothing and you never know who might read your posts and who it might just help!!
many thanks

Hi 👋, I’ve been pondering how to kick off this account.
If you know me well, sharing isn’t my thing, not on social media, not in life. So, here goes—stepping into the unknown with a deep breath. This account will share the journey of the last 4 years with my mam, diagnosed with Alzheimer's and aphasia. It's been a tough ride, watching our strong, independent mam become frail and confused.
If I’ve felt lost and unsupported, perhaps you’ve felt the same?
Amid the challenges, we stumbled upon a need—something that could make a real difference. That’s where the idea for "Help Me Home" came in. It’s a safety net, essentially. A simple, wearable QR code that carries all essential personal and medical information accessible with just a scan. For my mam, and for anyone facing similar battles, it represents a lifeline.
Problem-solving became our daily mantra, and if any of our solutions could ease another's burden, sharing them felt right. Despite the darkness, we’ve also had moments of joy—precious memories I hold dear.
I’m just a daughter trying to stay afloat, hoping to lighten another’s load. Sharing our story and how "Help Me Home" came to be—if it aids even one person, I’ll count it a win ✌️.
Here’s a snapshot from early 2020, as we faced the diagnosis and the world locked down. This photo, capturing a simpler time just as we were grappling with what lay ahead, now also symbolizes the start of our "Help Me Home" journey. A tool crafted from necessity, born out of love and desperation, aiming to offer some comfort to those navigating the complexities of caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's or any condition that makes them vulnerable.
I will be sharing my journey on the blog for anyone thats interested, you can visit the web page below for more information.
