After photographing over 150 weddings, I’ve realised I don’t want to photograph as many weddings as I possibly can. I want to photograph yours really bloody well. 🤎

Going forward, I’m choosing to book around 15 weddings a year, and to focus more on full days rather than shorter coverage.

I always love to chat to you and meet with you multiple times before your wedding, and I never want to be scrambling to find the time for that. I want to know not just you, but your people. Of course your bestie is welcome at our planning meeting too!

On your wedding day, I put so much energy into seeing the little things. Your secret hand hold, your dad having a little cry outside when he thinks nobody is watching. I love being ready when your Nan absolutely owns the dance floor.

I want to come home afterwards and still be excited to tell my little ones all about your special day. And I want to be around enough to take them to the park the next day and pretend to be a dinosaur. 🦖

I want the time to sit down with your photographs and give your gallery every bit of attention it deserves. And I really, really don’t want you waiting months for it.

So, around 15 weddings.

Enough space to give everything I have to the couples who trust me with one of the biggest days of their lives. Enough space to still love photographing weddings as much as I do now. Enough space to be Mum and make memories with my own little family too.

And somewhere amongst all of that, I’d quite like a little bit of time to just be Liz. 🤎

What should wedding guests wear? 👀

Honestly, whatever makes them feel most like themselves.

The best wedding guests are the ones smiling until their cheeks hurt, laughing loudly, getting involved, making memories, having a dance and being completely present in the celebration.

Years from now, you probably won’t remember exactly what everyone wore. You’ll remember how it felt to have all your favourite people there, being themselves and having the best time with you. 🤎

Confetti is one of those little wedding highlights I will never get tired of photographing, but the best bit is that it can look completely different for every couple.

Maybe you want armfuls of colourful confetti flying everywhere. Maybe dried petals feel more like you. Maybe it’s bubbles, ribbons, something handmade, or something totally different that means something to the two of you.

There’s no right way to do it!

The parts of your wedding you’ll love looking back on most are usually the ones that truly felt like you, so take the traditions you love, leave the ones you don’t, and make the rest completely your own.

Whatever your little celebration looks like, I’ll be there ready to capture it. 🧡

Harewood Forest will always have a little piece of my heart from now on.

Georgia & Will’s day felt like stepping into a woodland dream.

Sunlight through the trees, wild greenery everywhere, heartfelt moments, confetti under the forest canopy, and the most beautiful golden evening to finish it all off.

From emotional moments during the ceremony to woodland games, laughter around rustic tables and a sunset that absolutely showed off, this one was such a joy to photograph.

If you’re dreaming of a wedding that feels relaxed, nature-filled and completely you, Harewood Forest really is something special.

I had the pleasure of meeting these two multiple times, and by the time the wedding came around, it didn’t feel like work… it felt like showing up for old friends 🤍

From getting ready at The Vale House, then heading to the beautiful for a day that felt so wholesome from start to finish.

With golden hour dips in the garden.
The biggest hugs with your favourite people.
A dancefloor full of joy (and some very impressive moves 👀).

I had alongside me capturing it all, and as always, she slotted in like she’d known everyone for years.

And of course, we were incredibly well fed by 🙌
