Saw this poppy whilst at the bill paying job the other day. Struck me just how wonderful nature is, a little bit of beauty in a mega industrial landscape.

Been a while since I was out with my camera, this is mainly due to me starting a new job back in the New year which means I spend a bit of time each week away from home due. Been a steep learning curve, getting brought upto speed working with a multi-national work force on one of the countries largest infrastructure projects for some time. Hopefully now that things are calming down somewhat work wise, I will be able to get back out with the camera.

VW Karman Ghia.
A little before & after from a shot I took at Carfest in 2016. Swopped the sky & played a bit with topaz AI. Quite happy, would remove the picket fence if I could be bothered.

A shot from 2016, Canon70D Tamron150-600 at 550mm focal length, was never really happy with it. My post processing skills have come on a bit and even though its not perfect I am fairly happy with this. This Spitfire PS915 was the last one delivered to the RAF in 1945 and is now part of the BoB Flight

Here's an idea that could be useful, especially if out on your own on a shoot.

Copied from a friend. Could be a lifesaver.

If you are ever lost while hiking, get stranded with a broken down car, etc and you notice your cell phone is either low on juice or has no signal, here is a tip that very well may save your life.
Change the voicemail on your phone to a message that gives your approximate location, the time, the date, your situation (lost, out of gas, car broken down, injured, etc) and any special instructions such as you are staying with the car, you are walking toward a town, etc.... The best part of this is that even if your cell phone dies or stops working, voicemail still works, so anyone calling your phone looking for you will hear the message and know where to find you or where to send help.

Looking forward to tomorrow, I shall be out and about as the official photographer for music in the city. Busy day in Southampton, going from venue to venue, capturing the moment (hopefully) and the joy on people's faces

Pleased to announce that I will be doing photos for the Southampton Music in the city festival this weekend in Southampton.

Now this isn't my image, but it shows a good example of a cropped image.

Op Courage info.
I am proud that I am an armed forces veteran. My photography is a great healer and helps keep my mind clear.
However there are veterans out there that have no help or support group and sadly that number is growing.
If you know a veteran that is in need of mental help then the follow numbers and organisations in the picture may be able to help. Unfortunately they cannot help with crayon eaters.

Please pass/share the details/picture below.
