This was a feel good mate's fest to kick off day 2 at Takedown Festival ()! made sure everyone was awake and jumping around from the very first word!

Always a pleasure getting to capture the hardworking pop punk trip, hopefully it's not long before I do it again!

Eclipse Machine // Wi******er.

Went to a venue on Saturday, and realized I'm not the only one who loves complex time signatures... or math..

Eclipse Machine ( ) were on fire on Saturday night, as they headlined The Railway (), a venue I hadn't been to since 2013!
The prog/rock/djent five piece were on excellent form and it's been so cool watching them evolve on the stage! 🤘

The Wildhearts () brought the heavy rock to Friday's proceedings at Takedown Festival ()!

This wasn't just a rock show, it was a full frontal assault, and the band were loving every minute of it! 🔥

Wargasm () came charging onto the main stage at Takedown Festival and brought all of the energy with them!
Big riffs, lots of running and jumping and a crowd that just wanted more and more! A highlight of Saturday 🤘

Buried in Bermuda // Southampton

Got to spend last Saturday night in good company, in a venue that basically taught me how to work in low light!

Linked up with Buried in Bermuda () at Suburbia () as they played main support to my friends in Night Thieves!
This venue also pushes me to do my best, and the band were also up for the challenge! All the lights, all the riffs and all the faces! 🤘🔥

Takedown Festival 2026

It's already been a week since I was running around Portsmouth Guildhall once again, shooting Takedown Festival ()!

I managed to cover 14 bands across the 2 days, and here is a snapshot overview of what I managed to capture! 🤘

Daughtry// The O2 Arena, London

Playing main support last week were American grunge rockers in Daughtry ()!

This was 45 minutes of powerful vocals, heavy riffs and a bit of smoke thrown in for good measure. A band that fits an arena show perfectly 🤘

Sevendust // The O2 Arena, London

American nu-metallers Sevendust () opened proceedings at The O2 arena last week, to thunderous applause!
Captivating music set the benchmark for an evening of heavy metal, and it was a thrilling way to start off!

Evading Solaris // The Factory, Worthing

Kicked off my 2026 shooting some old friends in Evading Solaris ()!

I took a journey up the coast to the fabulous Factory in Worthing () to get things started for the year. What I captured was a ninety minute set packed with emo bangers that had a near capacity crowd singing, moshing and headbanging the night away.
Cracking way to start the year, let's go smash 2026! 🤘
