Seasonal Photography Ideas!
What’s your favourite season?
Street / nature photography:
Use the change of seasons to make a project. This could be just a couple months to a whole year of seasonal changes.
Photograph the same or different areas with a subject that captures the turning of the seasons.
IDEAS:
Busy areas with people transitioning from summer clothes to boots and umbrellas.
Focus on one subject like a tree or a flower and capture how it changes.
You can finish your project as a series of prints / digital photos or combine images like the tree example so it becomes 1 photo with all the seasons blended together.
Colour Walks:
Wander around looking for one colour of choice and photograph things you find in that colour.
Go to what calls you. You might start to notice your own unique style coming through.
Techniques like the rule of thirds, leading lines, and framing will help create visually balanced and engaging photos.
