ELLIE & KEARNS// A gorgeous day in Stourbridge with their favourite peeps, and, of course, honouring their favourite felines 🐈 🐈‍⬛. This day was everything a wedding should be- a bit happy celebration surrounded by your nearest and dearest, great grub and a packed dance floor. I loved our golden hour portraits down by the canal too. Thank you so much for having me E&K!

OLIVIA & TOM// A busy summer means instagram has been a little bit neglected, so I’m aiming to catch up a bit before another busy weekend of weddings! Starting with the wonderful Olivia & Tom, and their gorgeous day at Hookhouse Farm. With a tractor arrival, a mid-ceremony singalong to this banger, a post-ceremony penalty shoot out to choose their new surname, a clash with an England match which they fully embraced, and some epic golden hour portraits (including some with the 🚜) it was just gorgeous from start to finish. I loved that all of their family got involved in making it a day to remember, and their epic first dance moment. These two are childhood sweethearts, and Tom always joked that their first dance would be to Enrique Inglesias’s Hero- so they made an insanely brilliant music video to the song to start their first dance! So good!

DEBS & JAKE// This stunner of a day at Shack Revolution was hot, hot, hot in every sense- not only was is cracking the flags outside, but, well, just look at these two little hotties!! The most fun, colourful and relaxed day, complete with Pokémon ring boxes, a WWE themed reception entrance, a pub quiz and just a crazy amount of love in the room. I LOVED Debs’ stunning blue gown, their incredible Scalectrix set up, and, of course, this venue is absolute FIRE. Shack Revolution should absolutely be on your list if you’re looking for an alternative, fun and chilled out wedding venue!

JANA & JOHN// Every time I take photos, I’m looking for the feels. The photos that you’ll look back on and remember that gorgeous sparkly feeling you felt on your wedding day. Jana and John and their gorgeous guests made this so easy. There were tears galore (mostly John and best man Craig!), so much laughter, and shenanigans and tomfoolery in spades. I felt absolutely welcomed into the fold and my face quite literally ached from smiling by the end of the day. And what a setting for it too- Kielder Water & Forest Park is STUNNING. I got the most gorgeous thank you email from J&J too:

“We just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to you for capturing our wedding in the most perfect photos that accurately show how the day felt! 💛 It will come as no suprise to you that John cried looking at them (still bursts into tears daily as apparently newlywed life is that exciting 😂), and we cannot wait to see them all when the time comes!

You were an absolute delight to have at our wedding, and we always knew you were the right choice for our day. You being yourself is the most amazing thing ever, and we adored having you with us! You were practically invisible at times and then so easy to spot at times that mattered too, it’s like you are a skilled ninja!

SIAN & SHAUN// These two gave me pretty much the best compliment a photographer can have… they picked me as their wedding photographer before they were even engaged. How cute is that?

I absolutely jumped at the chance to be a part of their epic day of course, and it was so much fun. From their epic portraits and confetti moments with that Hope Street Hotel balcony view, to sneaking off for margaritas, and all the gorgeous moments with Sian’s grandma Hilda, it was a joy from start to finish.

A little detail I loved too was their pe***ng contest…. No, not like that. Get your minds out of the gutter. Scroll to see what I actually mean by that!!

I also absolutely loved their ceremony with Wendi Surtees-Smith - so many lovely thoughtful details! I bloody love Wendi and have worked with her loads. I can’t recommend her enough. It was actually my second ceremony of the weekend with her and she always crafts them with so much love and personality. Plus any celebrant who isn’t afraid to drop an F- or C-bomb into a ceremony is an immediate winner for me!

Thank you so much Sian Lorna James and Shaun, I loved every minute.

CHRISTINA & HAMISH// What can I say but WOW!!! What a day. Christina was the most organised bride in the world, and that showed in spades. Every part of this stunning colourful day was planned with so much thought, fun and excitement, and joy emanated from every corner. I loved their bright colour scheme, the bucketfuls of Flutter, Darlings! | Biodegradable Wedding Confetti🎊 confetti, their stunning decor and their wholehearted commitment to making sure their day had as little impact on the environment as possible.
Also any wedding where they give away a copy of the Communist Manifesto as a pass the parcel prize gets a thumbs up from me! Thank you so much and Hamish for having me. I loved capturing your stunner of a day.

LIZZY & ANDY// This was honestly the most perfect ting wedding. Their favourite people in an intimate ceremony full of joy and laughter, a little wander for portraits after which ended up in the amazing 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝑪𝒓𝒂𝒇𝒕𝒚 𝑩𝒆𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒚 , and a lovely meal after with family. I loved L&A’s commitment to silliness, Lizzy’s STUNNING veil, and just how beautifully relaxed everything was. Scroll for the little watermelon details- L&A use watermelons 🍉 in their texts instead of hearts, so I just love that they included this in their day!
