Andrew Fenner Photography I hope the photos I have taken give you the deep sense of peace which I feel when I am in nature.

Have been receiving healing from Carol for many years, including family members. This has been both in-person and via distance. Sessions have helped us to navigate a variety of life's challenges, so I do recommend this work.

Around mid-summer day I visited Happisburgh Beach in Norfolk after work and spent the evening walking along the beach making images of the remains of sea defences which have been as much use as a chocolate fire guard. This image was made late in the evening with the low sun casting shadows from nearby timber posts.
It had been nearly 20years since I was here last and in the intervening time I reckon the nearby cliff face has receeded 40 to 50m (yds). The steel staircase onto the beach which was erected less than 20yrs ago has long gone and the cliff top caravan park has been moved inland around 1/4 mile. This coastline has been subject to erosion for centuries and some sections have massive reinforced concrete retaining walls, but for some reason nothing substantial along this section.

Another image after work at the Norfolk coast in May. This image was made after the previous posted image in the heathland/dunes at Winterton-on-Sea. The sun had gone down and I was making my way back to the Campervan, but the sky was still colourful. Then I saw this composition with the path meandering through the scene and the grasses in the foreground, so made one last image before heading off for last orders at the pub at my park-up.

An after work trip to the Norfolk coast in May. This image was made in the dunes at Winterton-on-Sea. Enjoyable evening shoot with great sunset skies and was a re-do of a composition from last year, but this time I managed to make a sun-star.

Day 10, the final day of my Scotland trip. Morning light at the Old Man of Storr. Started the walk 40mins before sunrise (at 6.20am) with 1hr duration and an ascent of nearly 350m and was rewarded with this stunning scene. Although I should have started up half an hour earlier, fortunately the light was probably at its best when this picture was made 30mins after sunrise.
Great trip and looking forward to my next trip to Scotland (next year), which will probably be Isle of Skye and then on to Assynt.

Day 9 of the Scotland trip and now on the Isle of Skye. Morning glow at the Quiraing with clouds and colour in the sky. Had to get up before 5am to get in place for this image.
Finally, I was getting some interesting skies and as can be seen I have been able to include more of the sky in this image.
Look out for Day 10, the final day, which will be posted tomorrow.

On day 8 of my Scotland Trip still at Hushinish, I woke up to this incredible view just before the sun rose and managed to grab a few hand held images before the clouds disappeared.
This was my last morning on the Isle of Lewis and Harris as I was catching the ferry to go back to the Isle of Skye for a few days before heading back home. Look out for Day 9 and 10 images on the Isle of Skye which will be posted tomorrow and Sunday.

On the morning of day 7 I left Seilebost school to find a park up at Hushinish (Huisinis). The road is a dead end and surreally leads through a castle grounds with formal layout and a beautiful cascading waterfall. I was glad that I ventured on to the end of the road, as not only were there toilet and shower facilities, but I was parked 10yards from this beautiful beach. This image was made in the late evening before the sun disappered behind the headland behind me.

Day 6 of the Scotland trip. Still in the Isle of Harris, this day was spent in the morning at Luskentyre beach at the dunes. However, I didn't come away with anything I really liked, mostly because my chosen subject and light didn't give me the images I envisaged. I wasn't really inspired for the rest of the day and had a drive down to Leverburgh in the afternoon where I found an ancient church at Rodel and took some "snaps". However, I managed to pull myself together to make this image on Seilebost beach at sunset.

Day 5 of my Scotland trip. Evening light at a small bay called Bagh Steinigidh just approx 4miles south-west of my campsite. I found this location by accident when, in the mid afternoon on day 3, I pulled into the adjacent car park to get out of the way of sheep being herded along the road. When I got out of my van I noticed jet black rocks on the beach and set up some compositions. The light wasn't great at that time so I made a mental note to come back for evening light on another day. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and immersive few hours up to sunset and this is one of the images made.
