Ros Canter and Reuben definitely enjoyed their gallop in the five-year-old BYEH section this morning, which was won by Caroline Powell and WLS Cula Bula.

They’ve done it. 600km from to and it looks like it may have taken its toll.

The Old Somerby stopover. Henry catches up with the family and Abbie joins the team (briefly!)

I’ve just left old Somerby near Grantham in Lancashire where Abbie Jenkins from Fairfax & Favor joined Andrew, Alastair, Henry and Tom for the last 20 or so miles through Lincolnshire to Stamford and Burghley House. Video to follow.

Day Two of the Scone to Burghley Charity ride saw some beautiful countryside (and some brutal climbs). The team had their first bike issues with Thomas having to stop at a bike shop and Allister getting a puncture but they completed more than 200km and got to Barnard Castle.
Tomorrow they head down to Lound, another 200km (more downhill) before the final push to@Burghlwy on Wednesday.

If you were at Scone today you may have seen our intrepid quartet heading off on the first leg of the their Scone ➡️ Burghley cycle ride.
They have safely got to Peebles at the end of leg 1 but the weather didn’t play nice!
Tomorrow they head down through Cumbria to Barnard Castle, probably the toughest day with 2.5km of climbing and over 200km of cycling.
If you are able, please do donate. It’s for very good causes.
