Some things in photography feel almost unreal when they happen 🌺

This Sunday evening I’ll be at a poppy field near Luton — something I only get to shoot once every few years, because finding a field like this has become incredibly rare.

Poppy fields are unpredictable, short-lived, and never guaranteed… and that’s exactly what makes them so special. When everything aligns — light, weather, timing — it feels like a small miracle.

No big setup. No staging. Just people I love photographing, surrounded by something that won’t look the same tomorrow.

Some sessions stay so deeply in my heart that, even years later, I still find myself coming back to them.

Photography is about so much more than beautiful images. It’s about preserving a feeling, a connection, a moment in time that can never be repeated. Some sessions leave a lasting mark on me — the laughter, the love, the tiny details, the way people looked at each other when they thought nobody was watching.
