Ever stood on one of Scotland’s most isolated Munros? 👀⛰️

Geal Chàrn is one of those summits that feels a world away from everything else ❤️

A quieter Munro, vast open landscapes and views stretching across the Highlands as far as the eye can see 👌

Cloud, mist, no views approaching the summit… then suddenly the summit and Loch Einich appeared through the Cairngorms ⛰️

Moments like this are why we keep going back to the hills 🫶📸

Would the climb make you dizzy? 😵‍💫👀

The climb to the top of the National Wallace Monument is all part of the experience — winding staircases, towering stonework and views that just keep getting better the higher you go ⛰️

Then suddenly… the whole of central Scotland opens up around you — from the Ochils and Stirling across to Ben Ledi, Ben Vorlich, Ben More and the distant Trossachs peaks ❤️

From the hidden carvings along the woodland trail to the stories and history inside the monument itself, it’s easy to see why this remains one of Scotland’s most iconic landmarks 👌

You wouldn’t expect this from a reservoir walk… 😳⛰️

What started beside woodland trails and hidden ladders quickly turned into one of the wildest mountain circuits we’ve done in a while 👌

The Cruachan Reservoir Circular packs in everything — dramatic dam views, rugged climbs, multiple summits, rocky ridge sections and huge scenery right across the Highlands and Loch Awe 🫶

One of those routes that just keeps escalating the further you go ⛰️

A Highland adventure that starts in town? 👀⛰️ Exploring Bracklinn Falls & Callander Crags

One of those Scottish day outs that quietly gives you a bit of everything ⛰️🫶

Starting right from Callander, this circular walk takes you through peaceful woodland trails, over to the famous Bracklinn Falls bridge and then gradually higher towards the views from Callander Crags 👌

The route starts off gentle and immersive before the path becomes slightly steeper and rockier approaching the crags, with bigger views opening up across Loch Venachar, Ben Ledi and the surrounding Perthshire Highlands 🌿

Hidden details like the old wishing well and the Jubilee Cairn above Callander make the route feel even more memorable along the way 👀

It’s one of those walks that feels accessible and adventurous at the same time — ideal for anyone looking to explore a little more of the outdoors without needing a huge mountain day.

Whether you’re out with the dog, meeting friends for coffee, exploring with family or simply looking for a scenic walk with a proper payoff, it’s easy to see why this one is so popular ❤️

⛰️ Bracklinn Falls & Callander Crags Circular
📍 Callander, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park
📏 Approx. 4.5 mile circular
⏱️ Around 2–3 hrs
⬆️ Moderate walk with some steeper and rockier sections approaching the crags
🅿️ Bracklinn Falls Car Park
☕ Cafés, pubs and outdoor shops all nearby in Callander
🐶 Dog friendly (extra care near steep drops/water)

Definitely one of those routes that feels like much more than just a walk ⛰️

A different kind of day for On The Ridge 👀🖋️

One of us were through in Edinburgh this week with Jake Gallen at Stone River Tattoo Company working on the next chapter of a thigh piece.

Coffee, conversation, creativity and a few hours under the needle ☕️

Cool atmosphere in the studio and some incredible artistry throughout the day 👏

Halfway there… and it’s all coming together 🔥 until the next session.

If you’re into black & grey realism tattoos definitely check out and for booking info and more of their recent work 👌
