There's no easy way of putting this really, and anyone who knows me will understand that this won't be a short message.

After 20 years of having a photography studio, where I have had the privilege of meeting many many fantastic families and individuals, made more friends than I can count, have so many people I am happy to regularly bump into and catch up with around Stirling (although I seem to bump into customers all over the UK, which is really nice too), I have taken the decision to close the Lighthouse Studios door for the last time.

From newborn babies and wedding customers, to families getting together for the last time, it has as they say, been emotional.

I have been so lucky to have been the photographer chosen to share in these moments and record the memories.

Hundreds of weddings,
too many passports,
thousands of family members,
enough babies and pets to make a person cry,
but now it’s time to say au revoir but not goodbye (see what I did there?!)

Worry not though, as I still have cameras, hands to operate them and eyes that work(ish), although sadly my chat is still pretty poor.

I will still be available and photographing at schools, nurseries, businesses, location portraits for families, couples and pets and maybe, just maybe, the occasional wedding.

So, in a nutshell……. if you need me, get in touch, I am still a photographer I just don’t have a studio.

The not-so-good bit now…. I will be getting rid of my online photo storage at the end of May, so if you would like to buy digital copies of your photos, now is the time to let me know, as I just can’t keep them forever. Sorry.

Thank you for all the smiles, laughs and tears, it’s been bloody good fun.
