***BIG NEWS***PHOTOBOOK OUT SOON***PLEASE READ***
After all the hurdles I am VERY pleased to announce my new photobook, Beyond The Monochrome, is nearly finished, MUCH better than the original version with loads of new material and will be going to the printers next Monday. Full details below.
*IMPORTANT!* If you have pre-ordered a copy PLEASE MESSAGE ME DIRECT ON MY PERSONAL FB ACCOUNT - NOT HERE to confirm the name you want to be thanked as on the inside cover (so I can check you are amongst those already listed) and also PLEASE SEND ME YOUR ADDRESS as I lost countless emails when my account was temporarily closed and I had to re-register my URL earlier in the year.
*FOR ANYONE WHO MISSED OUT ON THE PRE-ORDER* please message me direct ASAP as there is still time. All those who pre-order will have their name printed in the thanks to acknowledgement page and will have priority when copies are posted out and will also get free admission to the launch party, details of which will be announced soon.
*AND MOST OF ALL* my sincerest and heartfelt thanks to all those who have shown such patience and understanding since this project was first announced. I have every confidence it will be worth the wait.
*NOW WITH ADDITIONAL WRITTEN CONTRIBUTIONS* from members of The Alternative, Chumbawamba, Passion Killers, Riot/Clone, Rubella Ballet, Fatal Microbes, Omega Tribe, Dirt, Oi Polloi and others plus a fantastic foreword from my ol' pal, Na**lm Death founder and original vocalist, Nick Bullen.
BEYOND THE MONOCHROME COLLECTS THE BEST OF MY PHOTOS TAKEN BETWEEN THE YEARS 1982 AND 1985 OF BANDS INCLUDING CRASS, CONFLICT, THE APOSTLES, THE ALTERNATIVE, ANNIE ANXIETY, OI POLLOI, OMEGA TRIBE, ICONS OF FILTH, DIRT, ASSASSINS OF HOPE, RIOT CLONE, EAT S**T; IN PUNK SQUATS, ANARCHIST CENTRES, DIY VENUES; AT CLASS WAR ACTIONS, STOP THE CITY PROTESTS, CND RALLIES, MINERS’ STRIKE & PRINTWORKERS PICKETS … AND MUCH MORE.
A time when the punks carried a new world burning in their hearts, captured in all its raw and washed-out glory.
Beyond The Monochrome, if only just.
