What a massive surprise when our MP Chris Kane popped by our studio yesterday to present us with a "Superstars" award for services to the Stirling and Strathallan area over the years. He told us that because Whyler Photos covered all the local news since the early 60's, basically "telling the story of the area in photos" and now also photographing just about every school pupil in the area in the School Photography part of the business. This is something Whyler Photos are really proud to accept. In the photograph Jim Mailer from Whyler Photos is accepting the award from Chris Kane MP.

Just to let you know we are now in a position to offer our Free School Sessions within our studio with no session fee. For all children who missed their school photo day or for families with siblings at different schools. We will be running the 10 min free school sessions in our Studio at Back o Hill Industrial Estate (FK8 1SH) on Thursday this week after school (27th), Saturday morning (1st March) and then a week today (Monday 3rd March) after school.
All you need to do is email us at [email protected] with your choice of date and we will contact you with available times.

Well the last week has been a total blast, exceptionally hard work and a pleasure all rolled into one!! For he last six days I have been taking photographs of some of the most famous music acts in the world ranging from the fantastic Shania Twain, Sir Tom Jones, Ragnbone Man, Busted, Delta Goodrem, James Arthur, the list goes on and all here in Stirling. Working at the recent Summer Sessions for Stirling Council and sharing all the images with the Summer Sessions organisers DF Concerts and events to allow the acts to use the photos. Some of the acts did indeed including the headliner that was Shania Twain who brought the event to a fantastic end on Tuesday evening in front of a full packed crowd. Happy New year everyone! We have decided to offer a 15 minute session for our school photography within our studio with no session fee for all children who missed their school photo day, or would like them taken again or for families with siblings at different schools. All you have to do is Private message us via Facebook or email us preferably at [email protected] . At the moment we are offering Monday afternoons/early evenings after school or Saturday Mornings. Another lovely graduation taken care of and even nicer is that we photographed her parents wedding 25 years ago. Part of her course was spent in USA which sounded fantatstic - Congratulations Miss McKenzie :-)

Currently on Sky Arts ch 122. Great to see it again

Had a crazy day yesterday working all over the place including Stirling Highland games where well known actrewss and local girl Simone Lahbib was the Chieftain and then onto the last ever Runrig Concert in front of 23000 people in Stirling. I was also allowed exclusive access to Stirling Castle to get aerial shot of the concert ground! There will be a large spread in Wednesday's Stirling Observer
