Finally getting round to sharing some images from the wonderful session for beautiful mama’s special birthday back in April at one of my favourite locations!
There’s just something about being outside. 🌿
Every season brings something different. Golden light, fresh greens, crunchy leaves, moody skies… even the wind becomes part of the story. I love using the light, the shadows, reflections, & all those little in between moments that you just can’t plan.
The best part though? Space.
Space for little legs to run, for cuddles to happen naturally, for games to start without anyone asking & for everyone to just… be.
I’m never aiming for perfectly posed from start to finish. I’ll gently guide you when you need it (& we’ll always make time for a few photos where everyone’s actually looking at the camera because they are important too 🤍), but most of the session is about connection, movement and capturing your family as you are.
The laughs, the hand squeezes, the wild hair, the muddy knees, the shoulder rides and everything in between.
Those are always my favourite images to capture ✨
