Oh my 🥹 please take the time to read these because I’m beyond thrilled and truly overwhelmed by peoples kind words. This studio was born from a dream, to connect with incredible people, to meet photographers and models who inspire me every day. I love watching your visions come to life here.

Saturday 28th March | 12pm – 4pm
📍 Montrose Studios, Stockport

The classic Pinup Tutorial you know and love!

Join us for this 4-hour creative workshop, open to photographers of all levels and abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or just starting out, this is your opportunity to capture beautifully styled vintage imagery in the home of pinup itself.

Throughout the session, Phil Mairs will guide you through lighting, posing and direction - sharing practical tips, techniques and creative insight to help you refine your pinup photography. You’ll then have dedicated time to shoot independently, with support available whenever you need it.

This edition features our resident model, Sophia Montrose. Moving forward, Sophia will be the base model at all Pinup Tutorial events, ensuring consistency, quality, and the standard you’ve come to expect from our workshops.

Additional models will be added depending on attendee numbers to ensure variety and plenty of shooting opportunities for everyone.

Expect vintage styling, classic lingerie, and timeless glamour throughout.

💸 £130 per photographer
Secure your space with a £50 non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance payable on the day via cash, card, or bank transfer.

Spaces are strictly limited — we intentionally keep groups small to maintain a relaxed, supportive, and hands-on experience.

✨ Hey guys, Soph here with a little studio update 👋🏻✨

As many of you know, this studio has been such a huge part of my personal journey. And now, I feel like I’ve reached the right time in my life to step further into my own photography work again.
Going forward I will be taking on a lot more photography projects. It feels like the right season to grow, create, and build something new - and I would genuinely love your support as I step into this next chapter 🤍

I’m also so excited to share that I’m launching a new photography project in partnership with We’ll have a brand new Instagram page dedicated to this venture, and I’d be so grateful if you’d follow along and cheer us on.

A few important studio updates:

• Pinup & Bo***ir services will absolutely continue as normal and will still be provided by the amazing - you’re still in very safe (and very talented!) hands.

• Studio hire will continue to be available. However, as we grow our own photography projects, you may notice availability becoming more limited - so please do book early. As always, you can visit the booking page for a live view of up-to-date availability.

• We’ve recently introduced more flexible hours for dry hire, making it even easier to fit your shoots around your schedule.

• We also have an exciting Studio Share opportunity available for a photographer who would love to join the team and grow within the space. If that could be you (or someone you know), please get in touch!

This studio has always been about community, creativity, and collaboration - and that isn’t changing. If anything, it’s growing.
