Hi I'm Sara Auty the creator of SAZ Media. I have been a passionate photographer and filmmaker for the past 8 years, creating imagery for Charities and the Corporate sector as well as independent projects such as weddings and portraits. Creating SAZ Media has enabled me to have creative freedom, meaning I am able to dedicate more time and energy to each and every project, leaving you (the client)

What happens when young people are given the opportunity to get stuck into the creative industry?

We’re bringing our 6-week photography + wellbeing course to Bolton for 18–30 year olds.

It’s a chance to get creative, meet new people, take some photos and explore how photography can help us look at things differently, build confidence and support our wellbeing.

No photography experience needed. We’ll provide the cameras, you just bring yourself!

Wow it’s been 10 years!

Today has been one of those rare, full-circle moments. ❤️

Here I am, stood next to Viktor, who was a participant on my very first photography workshop programme in Stockport back in 2016.

Since that day, Viktor has taken part in many of our media programmes, become a member of our Youth Committee, finished school and college, achieved a degree — and today, they came back to volunteer with us, leading their very own photography workshop in Salford.

Even more special, the workshop is part of a project designed by our Youth Committee to celebrate 100 years of Salford.

I couldn’t be prouder of everything Viktor has achieved, but even more than that, I’m proud of the kind, supportive, creative and caring person they have become.

When I started SAZ MEDIA, I did so with a belief that all young people have potential— and that, given the right opportunities and support, they can achieve their ambitions despite life’s challenges.

Today was a beautiful reminder of exactly why we do what we do.

Watching someone who was once a participant come full circle and become the person leading and inspiring others is one of the greatest privileges of this work.

Here’s to the next generation of young creatives — and to creating the opportunities that help them realise just how much they are capable of. ❤️📸

Capturing what makes Salford, Salford!

Last week our young people on work experience joined a photowalk at Clifton Country Park, part of a project designed and led by our Media Committee.

With free photowalks taking place across Salford, the project brings people together through creativity while celebrating 100 years of Salford. ❤️

The photos will form a final collage artwork created by our Media Committee, while giving them valuable experience in planning, organising and leading their own project.

It’s completely free to join, and we provide cameras for anyone who needs one for the walk.

This photowalk is part of a project designed and run by our Media Committee, who are collecting photos from across Salford to celebrate its 100th year.

Our Media Committee has come up with an exciting new community photography project to celebrate Salford turning 100.

We’re creating a photo collage made up of images from across the city, and we’d love you to be part of it.

Join us for our first free photo walk at Salford Quays on the 15th of July at 12pm. Everyone’s welcome, and cameras are available if you need one 📸

Some of the photos taken on the walk will be selected to feature in the final artwork celebrating 100 years of Salford.

We had such a wonderful time on Saturday leading the Big Film Photowalk in Manchester!

There’s nothing quite like spending an afternoon walking around the city with a roll of film and good company.
