Sunday is national beach day! ⛱️

If you’ve been here a while, you’ll probably know the beach has become a bit of a second studio for me… and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’ve photographed growing bumps, tiny newborn toes, chaotic family adventures, four-legged friends, newlyweds and so many gorgeous moments along this coastline.

No two shoots ever look quite the same — different light, different weather, different people and a whole new story unfolding in front of my camera each time.

Windy hair, sandy feet and occasionally freezing cold toes included 😂

Here’s to many more memories made by the sea. So thankful to live near the coast 🌊📸

BORNEO MALAYSIA ( and this is just the tiniest of snippets from an amazing solo trip)

Reality hit me face first a day after I landed, and I’ve been non stop since catching up with your emails and messages and getting the pre Malaysia galleries out, along with a Jam packed mid August of gorgeous newborn and families shoots and I can’t wait to show them off. Thank you for all your patients while I had a break away from the real world and lost my self in travel!

Autumn beach shoots have a completely different energy… and I LOVE them 🍂🌊

The beach is quieter. The air has that little chill to it. The kids have acres of space to run around, and nobody’s worried about keeping clean because, well… sand gets everywhere anyway 😂

There’s something really relaxed about photographing families at this time of year. We walk, explore, cuddle up when it gets chilly and just let the session unfold.

And the result? Photos that feel warm, natural and full of personality — without needing a picture-perfect sunny day to make them beautiful 🤎

Black & white... or colour? 🤍🎨

If you had to choose just one, which would it be?

There's something timeless about black and white. It strips everything back, letting the emotion, connection and little details take centre stage.

But then there's colour... the golden sunsets, the blue sea, the tiny rosy cheeks and all the beautiful tones that help tell the story of the day.

Personally, I love both for different reasons, which is why you'll often find a mix in your final gallery ✨

You may have heard me say this before but if you know you'd love a newborn photoshoot, please don't wait until your baby arrives to get in touch.

Those first few weeks have a funny way of disappearing. Days blur into nights, you're finding your feet, soaking up every cuddle, and before you know it, your tiny newborn has already changed.

By booking around your due date, I can reserve space in my diary ready for your little one's arrival.

If you wait until after your baby is born, I may already be fully booked, and I'd hate for you to miss the opportunity to capture those precious, sleepy early days.
