I remember this shot from a few years ago. Typically amongst all the usual tractors I find something decent to photograph only to find it constantly surrounded with people.
Those who know me know I will ask one or two people to move but half a dozen was probably too many. I even made a point of keep raising my camera whist in their view but they did not take the hint. I took this shot as I thought it was the best I would get.
I gave up after what seemed like a lifetime but managed the shot later in the day.

Wild Wednesday and this one definitely is wild! This is 'Herbie' a Dutch tractor puller piloted by Mark Kustermans. I say piloted as the puller is powered by an aircraft engine. The engine is a Pratt and Whitney R-2800 which has been converted to run on methanol. Believe me it is LOUD. Recently seen competing at Great Eccleston.

As a totally unrelated note the lad in the distance is someone you might have heard of before, it's non-other than The Tractor Twitcher, my mate David Laley
