Beck Bromley Charity Football Match 2026 ⚽️

Back in June I was invited back to photograph the annual charity football game in memory of Beck Bromley.

It was an honour to photograph this event - it was great to see so many people help support the charity and take part in the game. As always it was lovely to speak to lots of people and get to see firmiliar faces 😊

Animal day at DougieMac 📸🐐

Another great afternoon at the DougieMac hospice for the animal fun day! One of the lovely nurses got a photo of me with the baby goat (so cute) 🥹.

It was lovely to see firmilar faces and new ones enjoying the activities. There was lots of beautiful animals here today such as bunnies,ducks,goats,chickens,donkeys and even a snake! It’s always a pleasure talking to all the families and staff at these events and capturing moments for them 📸💛

The DougieMac Drumming afternoon 🪘🎶

The official images from the DougieMac Drumming session are now ready to be shared! 📸

It was such a great afternoon watching the children enjoy the music and crafts that were put on by the amazing staff/drumming group 🥹💛 I will be photographing the next couple of events in the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for the images!

There were many wonderful memories captured of everyone and that it was amazing to be able to take part in the activities with everyone too! 🌻

On Saturday I met with Carina to capture some updated personal branding images for her successful LinkedIn page. 📸

Carina was one of my very first paying clients around 4 years ago, whilst I was still studying at Staffordshire University. During the time I was still learning my way around a camera/lighting and figuring out what kind of photographer I wanted to be. After all this time, I’m really grateful that we still stay in contact and that she still comes to me for images, as her trust and support all them years ago has encouraged me to carry on with what I do now! 😊📸

We were discussing how much creative talent is ‘hidden’ in smaller cities like Stoke-On-Trent and how great it is to support smaller businesses that’s right on your doorstep.

As a born and bred Stokie I appreciate the city so much! For example, hearing lots of stories of my nana ‘back in the day’ working at Spode and guilding the plates using her creative skill to create the famous pottery. As well as growing up around family/friends hearing all the great things that Stoke has/had to offer that’s not in these big cities like London.

Stoke has a lot of history in the creative industry and I’m grateful that I’m doing my part by keeping it alive with my lens, my love for oatcakes, pottery and Stokie charm! 🦆😆
