How cute are these two?! Meet Daisy & Flynn!

Taken last autumn at Dimmingsdale, Alton, these two collies posed wonderfully, their colours working perfectly with the autumnal background! Daisy (on the left) has had a few photoshoots with me now and she's always happy to pose in exchange for some treats. Flynn (on the right) is still getting used to posing - but look how well he did!

Being based in the UK, the weather is never very reliable and sometimes we end up having wet and muddy photoshoots - just like this one. Luckily, Sarah didn't mind as she's used to her dogs looking like this.

I will always try and rearrange, if the weather is going to be really wet, too cold or stormy (and on the odd occasion it's too hot!). Sometimes though, we do just have to put up with the wet british weather and that doesn't mean we can't still get great photographs like this one though.

Since I've just shared Betty (pictured) & Riah's gallery with their owners, I thought it's the perfect excuse to share one here!

A young german shepherd, Betty was full of energy and enjoyed exploring a new environment. Whilst taking breaks in between taking different photographs, she loved chasing her ball through the heather and running around with Riah.

The other Sunday, I met Riah (pictured) and Betty for an evening photoshoot on Cannock Chase.

August into September is one of my favourite times to shoot - I love the colour of the Heather and the fading green grass - so I was super excited when Betty's owner booked in her shoot. Both Betty & Riah looked beautiful against the purple and they did a great job at posing for photographs.

Lately, the Downs Banks has been a popular choice for photoshoots! Despite being busy at the weekends, it is an ideal location with a mixture of open fields, woodland and of course the stream.

Teddy's owner knew she wanted to go somewhere with water because Teddy loves it and she wanted some photographs of him in it.

Whilst I wait for them to pick their favourite photographs, I thought I'd share one of mine of Teddy in the water!

You wouldn't believe the weird noises I make in an attempt to get dogs looking interested and alert. Sometimes though noises don't work and instead we use their favourite phrases, their toys and of course treats, and once or twice, I've even asked their owner to start walking away or to the dog.

For Duke, he liked sausage, high pitched noises and watching the birds in the undergrowth!

Happy National Pet Day! 🐕 🦎 🐱 🐦

To celebrate this years National Pet Day, I thought I'd share a photograph of Louis - who has recently turned 6 years old!

As well as Lester and Louis, we've got a cat called India. However over the years we've also had budgies, fish, hamsters, rabbits and stick insects.

I haven't been very active on this page for the past year or so, but over Easter I had two photoshoots and I'm excited to share some of those photographs with you all!
