*Swans behaving badly*
It’s been an interesting afternoon in the garden.
Came face to face with a swan at the front door, then saw another 3 adults and 5 cygnets on the water.
There had clearly been some scuffle gone on and one found itself at the door.
Harper at New Arc Wildlife Rescue was really helpful and we decided because of how safe our garden is that we would provide some water and swan snacks and see how things went.
Eventually he/she had a wee walk and found a friend and walked down the bank into the water. Still no attempt to fly but is now back in the water …. our hospitality must have been too good though because he/she hasn’t ventured out of sight yet.
Pictures I took shows all the swans have some sort of marks indicating they were all involved at some point.
All seems well but we’ll keep an eye on them and report further concerns to New Arc if necessary.
