As part of a consultation running until September 10, you can complete a short online survey at https://engage.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/strategic-housing-investment-plan-2026-2031

Paper copies of the survey can be printed for you at any public library within the Aberdeenshire Council area.

Aberdeenshire Council’s Strategic Housing Investment Plan outlines the potential affordable housing investment programme over the period 2026-2031 across our region.

The main outcome of the plan is to enable the delivery of high quality, energy efficient affordable housing. Affordable housing can include:

🏠Social housing where homes are provided by your local authority or housing associations
🏠Mid-market housing where homes have rents which are lower than the private rented sector
🏠Affordable home ownership

The delivery of the plan involves partners including ourselves, Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership, housing associations, the Scottish Government, the development industry and land owners.

Delighted to have been able to provide Dunnottar Castle with some shots from around Stonehaven for their new signage. It’s looking Stunning!

Very pleased to have the Stonehaven side of our car park sign all back in place ready for the upcoming summer season.

We would like to thank Dawn Black Photography, Stewart Kerr at Stonehaven Golf Club, Moreen Anderson at Stonehaven Outdoor Pool and Jim Stephen/Ross Milne of the Stonehaven Fireballs Association for all assistance given in providing fantastic new photographs.

It was an absolute pleasure to give my River Dee Project talk to St Andrew’s Photographic Society this evening via Zoom.

Delighted to be included again in the RPS Scottish Annual Exhibition.

The best thing about the online nature of this year’s offering is that 51 photographers are represented whereas the usual print touring exhibition is limited to 40 images due to venue constraints.

I had the pleasure of speaking to Mearns Camera Club last Monday about my ongoing River Dee Project. Of course, these days being what they are it was held on Zoom and the club recorded it. I have broken the video down to three parts - the presentation, a Q&A session and a demo of how I process my black and white images.
