Jess & Andrew, Drumtochty 2026

Boy am I glad the weather came back for my second wedding of the year. I felt like I was living under a rock for about 5 weeks.

Jess & Andrew’s wedding felt like a really nice intimate day despite having a good number of guests.

Andrew started off the morning clay pigeon shooting with the boys and whilst Jess stayed nice and cosy in the bridal prep room being pampered by and her bridesmaids.

The ceremony was in the lovely St Palladius Chapel and despite the nice weather, the sun decided to play havoc during the ceremony. Nothing we couldn’t cope with.

Afterwards we had a very chilly adventure up the Cairn O Mount with a couple of stops before we headed back to the cosy castle to party the night away with .haggis

A super successful day!

I’m not sure if the light was more beautiful than usual yesterday at or if it was the fact we’ve had zero light for the past 854 days. But I couldn’t resist shooting these colours and textures in the lovely morning light! 🌅

Hello! I thought I’d just introduce myself to some new faces!

My name is Calum, but you probably knew that already. I’m a wedding photographer and filmmaker in Scotland, but you probably knew that too.

What you might not know is that…

I’ve been photographing weddings for almost 18 years and I’m only 36. So that’s officially half my life!

Although I’m nominated for awards every year, I’ve never actually won an award for being a photographer and I’m at the point now where I don’t actually want one!

I’ve got 70 five star reviews on google, not too shabby!

I was originally funded by the princes trust to set up my business and ran 2 photography studios (non consecutively) between the ages of 20-24.

I studied photography at college and then gained a BA in commercial photography.

I once visited Westminster on behalf of North East College for their success of producing business innovations.

I’ve photographed a wedding in Canada and New York.

I run a successful real estate media business alongside weddings.

My photography is all about photographing your day, your way!
