Action! are going filming.

Our Stourbridge based community theatre group is taking the next step, creating original short films so our actors, writers, and creatives can gain real film experience and build showreels.

If you would like to get involved with Action in local Community based Productions, drop us a message – we would love to hear from you, whether you are new to acting/writing/back-stage etc, we are all-inclusive and welcoming.

Another great night of poetry and prose at The People's Platform at Stourbridge Social amongst friends old and new.

A year ago I hadn't even considered writing much poetry let alone perform it in public, so events like this are so important to support and help people realise their creativity. Come along and see for yourself!

I'm getting waxed Saturday 11th at 2pm on a live stream to raise funds for our local community theatre group Action! Details below! Heeeeelp!

This time next week, Saturday 11th April, between 2pm and 4pm, we will be doing our first live-stream event!!

To help raise funds for our upcoming film projects, Steve Sant is bravely going to be doing a “Tax the Wax” challenge!

During this time anyone who donates £10 or more, will be able to have a wax strip on Steve, in an area of their choice. Obviously we're a family friendly group, so it is strictly PG, and of course, not his beard, however: arms, legs, back and chest are all fair game.

Simply watch our page on Saturday, donate via the crowdfunding link (https://crowdfunder.co.uk/actionfilm) and tell us which body part you'd like waxed in the comments when you do.

We will be monitoring the donations as they arrive and make sure Steve gets waxed appropriately 😁

Any donation will be gratefully received, and you can donate any sum you can afford, we guarantee all funds will go towards our future projects.

Great night. First birthday of The People's Platform and their first night at the new venue. Also my first time in front of a mic on a stage! Performances were so hot the fire alarm went off! 🤣
