What can I say what a day it was with the family. Out on the Cruise Loch Linnhe boat to see some wildlife managed to see some seals and got to know about the area a bit more than I should as a local. A massive thanks to Dana (the skipper) and Owen (the crew) who made the experience all that better for all on board including me, my aunt, my gran and cousins (if my family tree knowledge is correct 🤔)

Was nice to be a bit of a tourist for the day with some of the family at Nevis Range top station was just below the cloud base to make some nice photos.

Clipper Round the World Yacht Race leg 8 - Stage 13 started on sunday. Many of the yachts will be reaching the finish line tomorrow at Portsmouth. Looking back at some of the photos on my phone including some that the Nevis Radio team sent into the group chat we had along with some screenshots of me being caught on camera by STV news along with the BBC, being well fed and watered by the team at The View Oban, some of behind the scenes of what I was mainly doing and lastly some Polaroid photos I took to give to each team before they left (hopefully each team seen them) ..... again what an experience, hopefully in 2 years time we will be back to North Pier Pontoons, Oban to watch them enter into scotland again.

Clipper Round the World Yacht Race leg 8 - Stage 13 started on sunday. Day 10 - 10 of the 70 foot ocean racing yachts headed onto Portsmouth on their last stage of the race. Was sad to see everyone leave that brought so much positivity and vibes to the Oban area. I didn't manage to get many photos as was on another camera for YouTube.

Clipper Round the World Yacht Race leg 8 - Stage 13 starting tomorrow which will be a sad day to see all 10 teams leave North Pier Pontoons, Oban. Day 9 ...... was finishing up the Youtube videos for Nevis Radio which included a bit of a behind the scenes content including a little shoot in The View Oban as part of a thanks for feeding the team each night we were there. tomorrow will be a big day watching the 10 yachts slip their lines to head to the start line on the last stage of the round the world yacht race .......

Clipper Round the World Yacht Race leg 8 - Stage 12 done for all the teams with the teams leaving on Sunday for the last stage of the round the world race. Day 8 late again so these photos are from yesterday. Another busy day with filming interviews but was able to get some photos while filming. The highlights had to be watch Simon try and tie a reef knot and putting on one of the crews Musto foul weather gear as a challenge to see what it would be like ...... the only difference is this was done on dry land not like the crew had more than 4 hours of rest

Day 6 - Not long now till the yachts leave for the last stage of their journey, with that being said myself and Simon had the opportunity to join the crew from a number of the teams on a little sail today with the limited wind we had ...... yes it was an experience and a half
