Escaping the crowds in Teesdale. 🌲💦
Just a short walk up the Pennine Way past High Force, you'll find Bleabeck Force. It is so much quieter than the main waterfalls, and watching the water cascade down those rocky steps is incredibly peaceful. A true hidden gem!

Escaping the crowds in Teesdale. 🌲💦
Just a short walk up the Pennine Way past High Force, you'll find Bleabeck Force. It is so much quieter than the main waterfalls, and watching the water cascade down those rocky steps is incredibly peaceful. A true hidden gem!

Experiencing the sheer power of High Force! 💦 The drop over the Whin Sill rock is incredible, and the roar of the River Tees echoing through the gorge is deafening. Definitely one of the most spectacular sights in the North Pennines.
​Reached the main event! 🥾 After following the river up from Low Force, getting up close to High Force is the perfect reward. The raw energy of the water plunging down is something you just have to see (and hear) in person.

Experiencing the sheer power of High Force! 💦 The drop over the Whin Sill rock is incredible, and the roar of the River Tees echoing through the gorge is deafening. Definitely one of the most spectacular sights in the North Pennines.

Taking in the views at Low Force waterfall last week. Seeing the River Tees tumble over the ancient Whin Sill rock from the air really gives you a new perspective on just how beautiful Upper Teesdale is.
A quiet spot along the Pennine Way. Low Force might be the gentler neighbour to High Force, but the cascades are just as stunning, especially when captured with the drone from above.
Following the River Tees and getting a 360-degree bird's-eye view of Low Force. The landscape around here is incredible, and you can't beat the sight of the water rushing through the gorge.

Next stop: Hogsmeade... or maybe just a step back in time! 🚂✨🕰️

Stepping onto the platform at Goathland Station is pure magic. Between the smell of the steam, the vintage luggage waiting on the platform, and the beautiful heritage details, it truly feels like the golden age of travel is still alive up here on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

Whether you recognise it from Harry Potter or as Aidensfield from Heartbeat, seeing that steam train pull in is an unforgettable experience.

Rock hopping and chasing waterfalls today in the North York Moors. 🥾🌲
The walk down into the wooded gorge to find Mallyan Spout is just as beautiful as the waterfall itself. Pictures don't quite do justice to how tall this drop actually is! Nothing beats the sound of rushing water and getting lost in nature for a few hours.

Take a deep breath and listen to the roar. 🌲💦
There’s nothing quite like the hike down into the gorge to find Mallyan Spout. The way the water crashes over those dark, moss-covered rocks is pure magic. If you need a bit of a nature reset today, this is it!
