Apologies to those waiting for the final images from my test shoot with the Nikon D3400 as I am without a charger for my MacBook. The cable packed up yesterday just as I finished my last photo. I will hope to have this resolved either by this afternoon or tomorrow morning?

I said I was going to post the images I have taken from the past few months, and now is the time to start. Soon after getting the Nikon D3400 body, I had a play with it in Mowbray Park, which is in Sunderland City Centre. It was a late spring day, and it was a showery occasion. This meant I could get some good floral pictures with untouched rain water.

Out of the 95 images from that shoot, I have whittled them down to 38 of what I think are the best for post-production work on Photoshop. I will narrow them down further very soon, but for now here they are unedited.

Hello everyone. It has been a while since I last posted something on this website, so I may as well update you all on what has happened over the last seven months or so.

During February and March I was settling in well with my job as a Retail Sales Assistant at Photo Me in Sunderland, and I therefore became too busy to do regular shoots with my Nikon D3200. And then the D3200 body started to fail and it took two months to get it fixed at Jessops. I did get it back eventually, but during the end of that time I looked at other camera body options, and I ended up buying the upgraded D3400. I am pleased to say that this is a much better camera body, and the ISO is a lot better to control. I will aim to post some of my best images from my new device over the next few days.

During the summer and around it I was taking photos on my holidays and at political rallies, which included the Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn at the Sage in Gateshead, and at the T20 Finals Day in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

In August I lost my job at Photo Me in Sunderland due to the store closing. I have had two job interviews, but didn't manage to get hired, which is a little bit of a downer. But I am determined to not give up, and I hope my recent experience in a retail environment will catch the eye of more employers?

On Monday I went out with my camera. It was the first time in roughly two and a half months because of my commitments towards the new job at Photo Me.

This is the last weekly post on my Blogspot page. I have decided to stop posting new stuff every Friday as I have been too busy with work. And I also think this page has ran it's course after initially being set up for college modules.
