Last Saturday, Sunderland came alive with colour, culture and incredible talent on the runway. Here’s a glimpse of some of the moments I had the privilege of capturing.

Every outfit told a story. Every walk carried a purpose. This is Sunderland through my lens.

England at Firestation, Sunderland. The full story.

It started with one screen in a tent. By the end we had two screens, the auditorium, and a 2am alarm for Mexico.

Croatia 4-2 - from nerves to limbs
Ghana 0-0 - the Ghanaian fans celebrated every throw and save
Panama 2-0 - auditorium shift
Congo DR 2-1 - 1-0 down, 2-1 win
Mexico 3-2 - 2am, watched from home, still screamed
Norway 2-1 - 1-0 down, 2-1 win again
Argentina 1-2 - leading, then semi-final heartbreak
France 6-4 - 10 goals, third place against all odds.

Every match shown in the tent except Congo & Panama in the auditorium.

Thanks to for hosting the whole run. Same again in 2030?
