Motorbikes at weddings????? Yes please.

Megan and Richard love motorcross, so it was only right that they had one at their wedding, even if it was only meant to be a prop.

After dinner the shenanigans started with the wedding party group shot and slowly morphed in to some chaotic fun with everyone and the bike. I remember someone joking that Rich could ride under Megan's veil and that led to the an epic picture and no need to call an ambulance. Thats a win in my eyes.

The whole day was just full of laughs and I'm all for it.

Almost a week has passed since Sam and Hannah tied the knot .

The day started with prep at the cottage just off site with the bridal party. I walked in to a flurry of activity of male up, hair and packing of bags. In my usual helpful way I offered to move some things over to the venue as I needed to do some detail shots, so helped to take over the dress (yes this is a nerve racking part of my day being in charge of a beautiful dress) I will always help if it can take the stress and pressure off in bridal prep.

The boys arrived at site at mid day and my awesome second shooter captured the lads getting their final touches done.

The ceremony takes place on the 3rd floor in a beautifully lit room. They had playing the piano as they proceeded down the aisle.

Once the ceremony was done it was outside to throw the most amount of confetti i have seen this year. The video will show how much there was.

Once groups and couples portraits were done it was back up to the 2nd floor to capture speeches and the wedding breakfast.

The night ended on the 1st floor with cake cutting and dancing. They had a band with a saxophonist to keep that high energy and people dancing.

I can't wait to go back to the west mills in April.

How has a week already flown by?

Last week i finally got to shoot at and qow what a place.

The bridal prep room was such an amazing space and could accomodate everyone easily. Was great to worl with again this year. Sad that dont have any more weddings with her this year. Shes such a good laugh.

The ceremony was lovely and thanks to for being my second and getting Reece reaction to Teaal coming down the aisle.

After dinner we took the couple in to the gardens at Elsham and i could of spent all fay capturing images in there. Was trult lovely back drop for the couple.

1 whole week since their wedding at .

If I was ever getting married again I'd want to have Greg be my flower man walking down the aisle to his own song with a feather bower throwing petals with as much sass as he could muster.

The weather held off rain for the day but was over cast that didnt darken the mood at all for this day. Luke and his Groomsmen were in high spirits for the morning prep and many laughs were had during this time.

The ceremony saw many highs including the Groomsmen all supporting each other watching their mate get married.

The day wouldn't have been complete with out the couples 1 year old boxer Travis. He was full of energy and bouncing around so excitedly to see his pawrents. Luckily with a long Whistle he managed to look straight at me for a couple of photos.

What a venue! The Pumping House in Arleston has such a unique charm; industrial character mixed with soft, romantic touches.
